"Dream while you are still sleeping and work on that dream when you wake up, education is the window to the world, a sentence that is familiar to all of us and today there are 119 competent, character-based generations who will build the future of the nation, especially in the field of Law," said Yopi Riszey Loupatti (GPA 3,91) in his speech representing 119 graduates of the Faculty of Law, Unpatti.

While in the process of gaining knowledge from my beloved foster mother, I remembered the message of my lecturer Dr. R. Nendissa, SH., MH. when teaching the Legal Studies course to my class, he said "If there is an opportunity then compete, because opportunities will not come twice" a sentence that motivates us all so that now we have reached the stage of ending our struggle to obtain a law degree from my beloved foster mother, said Yopi Loupatti.

Yopi hopes that the 119 graduates can serve the community because there are still many reflections of their colleagues out there due to various limitations at this level, so our efforts and strengths are increasingly awaited, try to be useful with knowledge for your fellow human beings.

Yopi expressed his highest appreciation to the academic community, the Dean, the Vice Deans, lecturers, educational staff, parents, cleaning services and canteen mothers for their teaching, guidance, experience, service, prayers and sweat during the process at his beloved foster mother.

"Come as a Prospective Student, Process as a Student, End as an Alumni and Return as a donor to the beloved foster mother of the Faculty of Law Unpatti," he concluded.

Representing the parents of graduates, Mrs. J Takaria, S.Pd. expressed her gratitude to the Dean, Vice Deans, all teaching staff and administrative staff for all the guidance, knowledge, and facilities provided. To the graduates, do not be easily satisfied and proud because this is not the end of your life's struggle, but this is just the beginning of your steps to walk the real life. "Continue to hone the knowledge you have acquired, complete the knowledge you have gained with various knowledge and skills to support your success."

Quoting the view of Albert Masli who said that "a degree is not a product but a degree is an indication that someone can live" then your degree as a Bachelor of Law will not provide an indication or guarantee that you are already alive but how you empower yourself to be able to bring change and benefit not only yourself but also your family especially the community", that was the message conveyed by the Chairperson of the Senate of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Pattimura, Dr. AD Bakarbessy, SH., LL.M. in his speech at the Judiciary and the Faculty of Law graduates' pageant.

He continued, amid the Covid-19 pandemic, graduates are required to be more creative and innovative in developing themselves. When facing the challenges of the industrial revolution 4.0 and the digital era, graduates are expected to develop themselves further to meet and serve the needs of society. Never forget our beloved foster mother, the Faculty of Law, Unpatti, because your existence today is thanks to the hard work and efforts of the faculty leaders, lecturers, and educational staff. All of this they do to produce someone who can make a real contribution to society.

The Head of PSDKU Southwest Maluku Regency and Aru Islands Regency Prof. Dr. Aholiab Watloly, S.PAK., H.Hum. in his speech said that today I am proud to say that you are no longer students but greet you as educated people. There are two main reasons I greet you with the word educated people; first, people who call themselves educated people are people who feel they are intellectually stupid therefore learn and continue to learn to shape what we uphold as knowledge and character do not be like stupid people who think they are smart and bad people who think they are good; secondly educated people are people who always feel they are lost on the right path not feeling themselves right on the wrong path, therefore always ask, learn and make considerations. These two main criteria I mandate to the graduates we are proud of today "we leave the womb of the Faculty of Law to become educated people in the midst of society, you can become Professors, and professionals in the field of law but do not use the law to mislead many people in ways that are considered right without considering".

Closing his remarks, Prof. Watloly quoted one of the views of one of the old Greek philosophers, "Wisdom and knowledge provide the basis of wisdom and strength for us, but when it comes down to the level of knowledge, it gives two things that are like a subtle liquid that penetrates the heart and brings goodness but can also bring destruction, namely love and hate. These two things are subtle elements that can penetrate the heart and soul so that hate can become peace, and love can make someone love evil things." Therefore, it is hoped that educated people hate lies and will not love lies.

Dean of the Faculty of Law Dr. Rory J. Akyuwen, SH, M.Hum. in his speech said that currently the Faculty of Law Unpatti continues to improve itself in the development and comfort of students and alumni, namely by providing two new applications, the first application is SITAMA (Student Status Information System) Faculty of Law, this application is to make it easier to check student administration information and the second application is an anti-plagiarism application, this application is to prevent plagiarism in theses, theses and dissertations as well as articles that will be published in national and international journals.

The Dean expressed his gratitude to the parents who have entrusted their children to the Unpatti Faculty of Law and expressed his hope that they will continue to support the graduates, emphasizing that today's process is the beginning, not the end. The Unpatti Faculty of Law will continue to welcome alumni if they encounter any difficulties. The Dean also urged the alumni to never forget the foster mothers of the Unpatti Faculty of Law.

Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Fredy Leiwakabessy, M.Pd. in his remarks representing the Rector said that related to the government's policy on Independent Learning Independent Campus, all learning activities in higher education must be able to implement the Independent Learning Independent Campus program with the hope that the Faculty of Law can follow it by preparing one semester or 20 credits by each study program for student exchanges on the home campus and 40 credits on campuses outside the home campus with eight learning activities. To improve the institutional accreditation of Universitas Pattimura to reach a superior level, a minimum of 30% of the existing study program accreditation is required at the institution, the number of study programs accredited is superior, it is hoped that the Law study program can achieve it and the Unpatti Faculty of Law can obtain International Accreditation.

To the graduates, Prof. Lewakabessy congratulates them and tells them to keep fighting, don't give up quickly, and continue to give their best to society.

Activities carried out online and offline are carried out in accordance with Covid-19 health protocols.

Congratulations and success to the 119 graduates of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Pattimura.
