Universitas Pattimura is currently preparing 13 study programs to participate in international accreditation through the institution ACQUINOf these, the Faculty of Law's Legal Studies Program is one of the proposed programs and serves as the driving force behind the other 12 programs.

Acting Dean of the Faculty of Law and Vice Chancellor for Planning, Cooperation, and Information Systems, Dr. Ruslan Tawari, S.Pi., M.Si. said that the Faculty of Law, in this case the Legal Studies Program, has carried out intensive coordination with Universitas Pattimura Quality Assurance Institute to prepare all the documents required in the international accreditation application process.

Thirteen study programs have officially registered for the ACQUIN international accreditation program. The Faculty of Law is currently leading the document preparation process, focusing on meeting international standards, particularly regarding facilities and infrastructure. Various facility improvements are underway, including student services, restrooms, the library, and study rooms.

Dr. Ruslan Tawari emphasized that the target for completion of all documents is set for mid-2026, around June–July, to ensure timely submission. He also explained that there is a two-month gap between the submission stage and the field assessment, so the assessment is expected to be conducted in August 2026. Failure to meet this deadline could potentially delay the accreditation process.

With this step, Universitas Pattimura confirms its commitment to improving the quality of education and the competitiveness of study programs at the international level.
