The Faculty of Law at Universitas Pattimura (FH Unpatti) held a Halal Bihalal gathering to strengthen ties and maintain the integrity of the academic community. The event took place in the faculty auditorium on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.
This event was attended by the Chancellor of Universitas Pattimura who was represented by Vice Chancellor II Prof. Dr. Pieter Kakisina, S.Pd, M.Si, Dean of the Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. Adonia Ivonne Laturette, SH, MH, vice deans, lecturers, and students.
In his remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Adonia Ivonne Laturette, emphasized the importance of maintaining togetherness in the academic environment. He stated that the Halal Bihalal gathering provides an opportunity to forgive each other and repair relationships that may have been strained.
"Through this Halal Bihalal, we rebuild togetherness and strengthen ties by forgiving each other," he said.
Furthermore, this activity also emphasizes the core values of Halal Bihalal, namely purifying the heart, improving relationships, and strengthening brotherhood. These values are expected to form the foundation for contributing to society and the nation.
Furthermore, it was conveyed that brotherhood in Islam must go hand in hand with national brotherhood. The two are considered mutually reinforcing and inseparable in Indonesian social life.
Through this activity, the academic community of the Unpatti Faculty of Law is expected to continue to strengthen relationships, increase the sense of togetherness, and foster a spirit of brotherhood on campus.
The event then closed with a sermon, a prayer together, and handshakes between participants as a symbol of mutual forgiveness.
