Graduation Ceremony and Commencement of Faculty of Law Graduates for the April 2025 Period

UNPATTI,- The Faculty of Law, Universitas Pattimura, held an extraordinary open Senate meeting for the graduation ceremony and the presentation of graduates in the context of the April 2025 graduation ceremony for 106 graduates, which took place at the Faculty of Law Hall, Thursday, April 17, 2025. At this graduation ceremony, there were 13 graduates with the predicate cumlaude.

The Graduation Ceremony and Performance of the Faculty of Law Graduates of Universitas Pattimura was officially opened by the Chair of the Faculty of Law Senate, Dr. Saartje Sarah Alfons, SH, MH, and continued with the reading of the Dean's Decree on the Graduation Ceremony and Performance of the Faculty of Law graduates. Inauguration of graduates by the Dean, Handover of graduates from the Dean to the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni.

Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Public Relations, Dr. Nur Aida Kubangun, S.Pd., M.Pd. in her remarks expressed her appreciation for the achievements and hard work of the lecturers and educational staff, so that this graduation has produced 106 graduates of the Faculty of Law. The leadership of Universitas Pattimura also thanked the parents who have entrusted the graduates to be educated and mentored here. It was also said that the role of alumni is very much needed in supporting the university's Key Performance Indicator (IKU) 1, for that it is hoped that the graduates will be able to provide information to study programs and faculties regarding graduate data through tracerstudy platform"I hope the graduates can build a good relationship with Universitas Pattimura by providing information to study programs and faculties regarding your activities, both after you're employed and continuing your studies," he said.

Dr. Nur Aida advised the graduates to play an active role in society and contribute to the development of Maluku. "Hopefully, the knowledge gained during their studies will shape ethical individuals and foster a competitive spirit, enabling them to compete with graduates from other universities."

Meanwhile, the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dr. Hendrik Salmon, SH, MH, in his remarks, said that the undergraduate graduation ceremony is a moment where the Faculty of Law returns students who have completed 4-5 years of study to their parents, and hopes that the graduates are ready to enter the world of work and real activities in the midst of society. The Dean also appreciated the various achievements of law students both at the university, national and international levels. The Faculty of Law will continue to provide space for students to work according to their talents so that they can also adapt to the real world.

"The Faculty of Law, which has achieved superior accreditation, strives to provide a conducive, safe, and comfortable academic environment for its academic community, allowing students to interact and express their aspirations to support the integrity zone to achieve international accreditation. The Faculty of Law is also ready to welcome this. The Faculty of Law also continues to make various improvements, both academic and non-academic, in order to achieve international accreditation," he said.

On that occasion, the Dean also invited the graduates to continue their education at the Masters or Doctoral level at Unpatti.

Representing the graduates, Dwiky O. Djokdja, SH, in his remarks said that this graduation was the result of hard work, dedication, and an unyielding spirit that had been instilled by his foster mother. He hoped that the various challenges they had faced during their studies would shape the graduates into individuals who were better prepared to dedicate the knowledge they had been given. "Let's prepare ourselves with the knowledge provided by our beloved foster mother, because in the future we will step out of this faculty and fight through various obstacles to achieve our respective dreams," he concluded.
