Implementation of PKM by Lecturers of the Faculty of Law, Unpatti in Negeri Mamala

Criminal law lecturers from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Pattimura, held a Community Service (PKM) activity for government staff and the community in Mamala Village, Leihitu District, Central Maluku Regency on Saturday, October 4, 2025. This PKM focused on village financial management with two speakers, namely Dr. Deassy Hehanussa from the Unpatti Faculty of Law and Agustina Isabella Obleo, a legal practitioner from the Ambon District Attorney's Office. This activity was guided by Dr. Yanti Lewerissa and took place at the Mamala Village office.

Dr. Yanti Lewerissa explained that the goal of this PKM is to help village communities, particularly village officials who manage the allocation of Village Funds (DD) and Village Fund Allocations (ADD), better understand the financial planning process. With a good understanding of village financial management, it is hoped that village officials can avoid corruption.

The staff and community of Mamala Village demonstrated high enthusiasm, asking various questions and seeking input and suggestions from the speakers. They also expressed their gratitude to the Community Service Program (PKM) team and the speakers involved in the outreach. Dr. Lewerissa hopes that through this PKM, village staff and the community, especially village officials, will be able to manage village budgets effectively and avoid corruption.

A PKM team consisting of two lecturers successfully submitted their proposal and received funding from Dipa Unpatti. The team consists of Dr. Yanti Lewerissa as chair and Dr. Deassy Hehanussa as member.
