Jojaro and Mungare Building the Nation for a Golden Indonesia 2045: Youth Pledge Seminar and Workshop

Unpatti,- Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Prof. Dr. Mahfud MD was present and became the Keynote Speaker at the Youth Pledge Seminar and Workshop organized by the Latupatti Assembly of Ambon City with the theme "Jojaro and Mungare Building the Nation for Golden Indonesia 2045" which took place at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Pattimura, Saturday (28/10).
 
The Youth Pledge Seminar and Workshop was held to commemorate the youth pledge to make breakthroughs and become agents of change in facing real challenges, including the unpreparedness and inability of indigenous communities in rural areas to empower their abundant natural resources on land and at sea in order to free them from poverty and backwardness.
 
On that occasion, Mahfud MD said that Indonesia's independence was due to the young generation, therefore Mahmud invited young people to continue filling independence towards a Golden Indonesia in 2045.
 
Universitas Pattimura Rector Prof. Dr. MJ Saptenno, SH, M.Hum., was one of the speakers at the seminar and workshop.
 
"A true hero must be able to provide breakthroughs in the context of changing the nation for the better. Youth are a valuable national asset and a cornerstone of its progress and development. They are an elite group with a strategic position in nation-building. They are the nation's idols because they are synonymous with change and progress. They possess high fighting values ​​due to their extraordinary potential. History records that youth played a significant role in the Indonesian nation's struggle for independence.
 
"Explicitly, youth are today's heroes who must appear to make changes," said Unpatti Chancellor, Prof. Dr. MJ Saptenno, SH, M.Hum., when delivering material entitled "Exploring the Spirit and Values ​​of National Heroes' Struggle" in a panel discussion.
 
The potential of youth is extraordinary, but how can they manage it to compete in national development? In today's era of digital literacy, young people must possess digital skills and be able to innovate and be creative using their potential, so they can emerge as heroes in this region.
 
The Chancellor hopes that young people will have the fighting spirit as demonstrated by the previous Maluku heroes, with this spirit young people will be able to compete in this era and create various innovations for the progress of the country and nation.
 
This Panel Discussion also presented the Head of the Data and Information Technology Center of the National Research and Cryptography Agency, Brigadier General TNI Fedinand Mahulette, Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority Sophia Isabella Wattimena, Indonesian Ambassador to Serbia Ir. Samuel Samson, Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Arsyad Rasyid and Motivator Trainer Domi Siahaan with the central topics namely, The Value of the Struggle of National Heroes, Challenges and Potential for Character Development of the Young Generation, and Quo Valis of Young Generation Entrepreneurship.
 
Previously, the Latupatti Ambon City Council launched the Manggurebe Toma Maju Program, a flagship program of Latupatti Ambon City towards Golden Indonesia 2045. This was followed by a review of MSME product stands by Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs Mahfud MD accompanied by the Rector of Unpatti, the Chair of the Latupatti Council accompanied by Acting Mayor Bodewin Wattimena. The event continued with a panel discussion.
