The Legal Aid Institute (LBH) of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Pattimura, has signed another legal aid contract with the Maluku Regional Office of the Ministry of Law in 2026.

The Legal Aid Institute (LBH) of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Pattimura, with its firm commitment to providing free legal aid for the underprivileged in Maluku Province, again signed the Legal Aid Implementation Agreement and Performance Agreement for the 2026 Fiscal Year which took place at the Maluku Regional Office of the Ministry of Law, Monday (9/3/2026).
 
The signing process was carried out by the Chairperson of the Legal Aid Institute of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Pattimura, Dr. Mahrita A. Lakburlawal, SH, MH with the Head of the Maluku Regional Office of the Ministry of Law, Dr. Saiful Sahri, S.Sos., MH together with eight other accredited Legal Aid Organizations (OBH).
 
The Chairperson of the LBH Faculty of Law, Universitas Pattimura, Dr. Mahrita A. Lakburlawal, SH, MH, said that this agreement was the fifth in five consecutive years, proof of the commitment of the LBH Faculty of Law, Universitas Pattimura to provide legal assistance optimally and responsibly.
 
"This is the fifth year that the LBH Faculty of Law, Universitas Pattimura, as an accredited OBH, has signed a legal aid contract with the Maluku Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. This demonstrates the LBH Faculty of Law's commitment to providing legal aid to the poor, despite all the challenges they face, while maintaining the same spirit and rhythm for the sake of serving the people of Maluku," said the expert in Civil and Customary Law from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Pattimura.
 
As an accredited Legal Aid Organization, LBH Faculty of Law, Universitas Pattimura continues to maintain consistency in providing maximum legal aid services to justice seekers by considering that everyone, especially the poor, has the right to legal assistance and services, for the sake of and to realize justice.
