The Faculty of Law at Universitas Pattimura held its 2026 Leadership Working Meeting on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at the Ballroom of the Santika Premiere Hotel. This event served as a strategic opportunity to strengthen the faculty's policy direction through performance evaluation and future work program planning.

The working meeting was officially opened by the Rector of Universitas Pattimura, Prof. Dr. Fredy Leiwakabessy, M.Pd. In his remarks, the Rector emphasized the importance of internal consolidation and cross-sector synergy to encourage institutional quality improvement, particularly in addressing the increasingly dynamic challenges of higher legal education.

This activity presents the leaders of the Faculty of Law as the main speakers, namely:

  • Prof. Dr. Adonia Ivonne Laturette, SH, MH (Dean)
  • Dr. Sherlock Halmes Lekipiouw, SH, MH (Vice Dean for Academic Affairs)
  • Dr. Andress Deny Bakarbessy, SH, LL.M. (Vice Dean for Finance and General Affairs)
  • Dr. Johanis Steny Franco Peilouw, SH, MH (Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Cooperation, and Alumni)

The discussion in the working meeting was guided by the Coordinator of the Faculty of Law's Administration, Datu Tidore, S.Sos., who ensured that the forum remained focused, systematic, and productive.

The main focus of the discussion during this activity was an evaluation of the Faculty of Law's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) throughout 2025, which serve as a benchmark for the success of previous work programs. Furthermore, the working meeting also formulated strategic plans for 2027 in each area, as a proactive step to maintain continuity and improve academic and non-academic quality.

Participants who attended this activity consisted of various important elements within the Faculty of Law, including the Head of the Undergraduate Program in Law and its secretary, the Chair of the Faculty of Law Senate, the chairs and secretaries of the lecturer sections, the sub-coordinators, the Chair of ACQUIN Accreditation Preparation, the Chair of the International Class, the Chair of the Journal Management Unit, the Chair of the Quality Assurance Unit, and the Chair of the Legal Aid Institute (LBH).

Through this working meeting, the Faculty of Law at Universitas Pattimura affirmed its commitment to continuous improvement and innovation, strengthening governance, and enhancing the institution's competitiveness both nationally and internationally. This forum is expected to produce adaptive, measurable policies oriented toward improving graduate quality and making tangible contributions to society.
